filial piety is optional. if i were propose this idea to anyone on the streets right now, i’m sure they’d start blabbing about the karmic hell that would follow. it tickles me how people get so stucked in believing whatever the ‘norm’ is. like being homosexual is wrong because as a kid you’re only told that a man should only be with a woman.  question yourself, question your beliefs. just because you are not told otherwise, it doesn’t mean that it’s wrong.
